Who  are we, What are we, Where are we.

South East London Wargames Group, is a Wargames club, based in, St Laurence Church Hall, 37 Bromley rd, Catford,  South London, SE6 2TS. [see club]

The club has been in existence now 37 years, and meets every Friday, between 19 00hrs, and 23.00hrs,  [see history]

We are constantly on the lookout for new members, of all ages. We game, Historical, Fantasy, and Si-Fi, from board games, cards, figures, and role play. [see games].

The membership elects a committee, once a year in January, and runs the SELWG show, at Crystal Palace in October. [see show].

We also run the famous, SELWG bring and buy, at both our own show, and SALUTE. [see salute].

Within our ranks are some of the most well respected painters in the country, Kevin Dallimore, Paul Baker, Steve Dean, Chris Steadman, Jock Ramage, and Max Longhurst, to name but a few. [see galleries].

If you think you would like to visit us, why not come along on a Friday night, and see what we are about, there is no obligation to join, but you would be made most welcome.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

REGARDING THE SELWG SHOW FOR 2008

We have been advised by the Crystal Palace Sports Centre that the refurbishment works currently being carried out at the venue, for the London Olympics, are behind schedule and the venue will not be available for October 2008.

Therefore SELWG will not be able to hold their Wargames Show in 2008.

However, we will be back in 2009

We will publish the date, as soon as we are able to confirm it,

in the hobby press and on our club web site, www.selwg.com.

In the meantime, if you are in the Catford area on a Friday night, why not look in on us. We meet from 7-11pm at the St. Laurence Church Hall, 36 Bromley Road, Catford, London, SE6 2TS.

We have masses of club terrain, space for over 20 6x4 tables, a coffee bar and an average of 40 club members to welcome you.
