Lewisham next , from 1985 to 1992. Look at the picture of the painting competition, we spent all day Saturday laying down a carpet, kindly provided by Mark Fletcher, to save the bowling area surface. The following year, 1986, we moved the date of the show from September to October, as another club decided to run their open day on the Saturday. How we cheered at not having to put down the carpet again, as Lewisham sports hall decided that we could not get access to the bowling area, due to the bowls season having started.
